Thanks to the efforts of Sharon and Carl Benson and Matt Lovejoy, and to the Country Park and the National Lottery Heritage Fund for the funding, we now have three new walk leaflets:
Compass Walk North to Hawkedon
Compass Walk East to Rodbridge
Compass Walk West to Haverhill.
These are freely available from the Visitor Centre in the Country Park. (If you haven’t visited it yet, please do; it’s definitely worth a look). They can also be downloaded from our website.
These are linear walks of about 8 miles, to be tackled only by those confident of walking the distance and with return transport planned. They complement the Magna Carta Walk that was produced for 2015 in collaboration with Castle Hedingham. This we have adopted as our Compass Walk South, to complete the set.
