The Circular Walks Series, collated by the Walks Group, starting in the Car Park at Clare Castle Country Park; six routes marked on sections of the OS map, with directions and points of interest included in each:

Walk 3 Clare Cavendish moderate 7 miles 3 hours

Walk 5 Claret Hall & Stour moderate 5.8 miles 2.5 hours
Walk 6 Chilton Street moderate 4.6 miles 2 hours
Magna Carta Heritage Walk moderate/strenuous 8.5 miles

Suffolk Area Ramblers have organised walks throughout the year in our area. The Sudbury group has its own calendar. There is the Stour Valley Group, another Ramblers association, targeted on people in their 20-40s.
