16 February Chilton Street Map
This walk starts off along the River Stour and then follows a very rural path past the Upper Common, across arable land and back down to Chilton Street. There is a footpath alongside the road that leads you back through the Town of Clare, with the option of a variation taking you behind the Chilton Stream. There are some wonderful views during this walk.

13 April Nethergate Brewery
A beautiful 8 mile linear walk from Clare on the Essex side of the Stour Valley ending at the Nethergate Brewery at Rodbridge.

13 July Cavendish/Poslingford
Taking the 10.00 am No. 374 bus to Cavendish we walk back to Clare via Colts Hall and over towards the unspoilt village of Poslingford (5 miles leisurely).
14 September Cavendish Loop Map
This walk comprises a long leg east along the valley floor to the pretty village of Cavendish, essentially following the course of the River Stour, followed by a return leg west on the Stour Valley Path. The views of the Stour Valley on the return leg are sublime.
October (to be finalised) Clare Loop for Children in Need
Originating from Clare Castle Country Park, the Clare Loop Walk has the Town of Clare at its centre. It is the perfect introduction to the rolling hills of West Suffolk, from which there are fine views of the Town. Please come along suitably attired although Pudsey ears will be available!
16 November Long Lane Map
This circular walk takes you south across the Essex border. You will walk past the remains of the old Mill and across the Mill Meadows. This walk takes you up an ancient drovers’ road and when you start to descend back into Clare there are some amazing views of the Town and Clare Castle.
27 December Post-Christmas walk Map
Originating from Clare Castle Country Park, the Clare Loop Walk has the Town of Clare at its centre. It is the perfect introduction to the rolling hills of West Suffolk, from which there are fine views of the Town.
